Adele Wilde - Counsellor & Gestalt Psychotherapist in PerthMy name is Adele Wilde, an accredited Counsellor and Gestalt Psychotherapist. I engage with clients in a collaborative process to facilitating positive change and resolve issues which might impede an authentic life. I will support you to recognize obstacles and long standing patterns that get in the way of living life more authentically. Together we explore thoughts and emotions, strengths and limitations, with a view to uncovering your true potential.

Through a safe and supportive environment we can explore your concerns, to develop more profound insights into self and relationships. This can lead to improvements in self-esteem, confidence, and the ability to have fulfilling connections with friends and loved ones. My goal is to encourage discussion about life’s challenges, to offer support, and to help clients develop a more optimistic and fulfilling emotional outlook. It is my belief that we each have within us our own unique solutions to our problems and issues, which can be considered, explored, and developed within a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Gestalt Therapy is a self-awareness and mindfulness based approach to counselling and psychotherapy. It enables the development of a deeper understanding of ourselves and how we function. A deeper self-awareness is a powerful means of resolving life issues (such as depression and anxiety) and is the first step towards stronger relationships and living a more authentic life.

As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I have had many years’ experience counselling individuals and couples, working in clinical settings, and providing therapeutic support in the area of mental health in Western Australia. This experience gained in both hospital and community service organisations, has provided a rich background to my work as a Perth based psychotherapist. My counselling style is warm, creative, and interactive, and I work with both individuals and couples, offering short or longer term therapy. Sessions are always confidential.

If you are currently feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with issues and believe you could benefit from counselling or psychotherapy, please contact me to arrange an appointment.
